Lake Mead

So here we go...once again keeping up with tradition!! There were chipmunks at Hoover Dam and three of them were just sitting there. Dallin had a lot of fun.

On our way to Hoover Dam he fell asleep and I guess since I didn't bring his binky he had to improvise. :-D
Can I just tell you how much I love my new camera!!! I got the Nikon D60 with an awesome lens! I couldn't as for a better camera!! I did a lot of research and a lot of homework to make sure I got the right camera!! And this baby, I am loving!! I took over 400 shots on this little 2-day vacation!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!
Here is Hoover Dam. It cost $7 bucks just to get into the gift shop and tours were $30 a piece. So we just stayed on the outside and walked around. It was good enough for us!!
This was before we went to the dam. At our campsite the water level is down at least a 100 ft. from what it used to be. We walked about 1/4 mile just to get to the water. But it was a fun little walk. Dallin is so awesome!!
This was our trip down. I bought him some sunglasses for fun and he was playing with his little guitar! My little rock star!! He loved those glasses!!
This was on the way down to Lake Mead around.....I know we are still not to St. George, and way past Nephi....so....somewhere in between there. :-)
